A steamer is a great way to strip wallpaper. When stripping walls with a steamer, you fill the steamer’s boiler canister with water and wait for the water to boil. You can then use the steamer hose to direct jets of steam at the seams of the wallpaper. The older the wallpaper, the tougher the bond between the wallpaper paste and the wall will be. Use a scraper to lift the edges of the wallpaper away from the wall, allowing the steam to penetrate. The hot vapour moistens and softens the old wallpaper paste, and you can use the scraper to strip the old wallpaper from the wall. Our staff are always on hand to provide further advice if required.

To locate buried services the SIGENdt signal generator is by far the best tool for the job. Use the SIGENdt in conjunction with the TOMKAT Cable and Pipe Locator.

Induction mode:-
To use in Induction mode, simply stand the SIGENdt on the ground and turn the orange mode selector to the induction position.

Direct Connection:-
To operate the SIGENdt in Direct Connection mode, simply connect the SIGENdt to the service you wish to trace using the appropriate connection leads, select the connection mode on the SIGENdt, select the generator mode on the TOMKAT and trace the service.

It is advisable to always use “Connection Mode” whenever possible as this is by far the best way to trace and identify buried conductors.
